Origins & Season

UK, majority grown on our own land in Yorkshire. We top up from other UK growers - September to December (November to April from well stored stocks.)

Varieties

Nadine, Harmony and possibly Estima with low, dry matter for good structure when processed.

It is possible to process other higher dry matter varieties such as Maris Piper which have more flavour but are softer in texture.

Good For...

Processing into good dices which can under go furthur processing in to pies, pasties,samosas, soups and sauces without breakdown. Higher dry matter varieties work well for mash.
